This video show the effects that the virus caused to Mexico. Rajesh Mirchandani (reports from Cancun) says that Mexico is in the middle of a government-ordered shutdown to stop the spread of swine flu.
The virus was been originated in Mexico, so the tourism undergo a negative change because it’s a virus that’s transmits by the air, it’s very dangerous.
In the country's main tourist region around Cancun, many are more concerned about the economic impact than the virus.

MY PORTFOLIO PRESENTATION.

The past.

1.

With the orals presentations I can see a lot of differences. I think that the orals are good examples for recognize our evolution in English language, English expression, English vocabulary and our embarrassment in class. For example, in my first oral presentation I was very nervous, embarrassed and insecure, and in my last oral presentation I’m very calm, very secure, and very agile.
I can see that in my first oral presentation the content of the oral and the structure was poorer that in my last oral, the language it’s the same, the structure presentation too, but the fluency and pronunciation get better now. It’s obvious that we have a good progress, but it’s funny and interesting to compare this.

2.

I think that my best oral evidence was my oral presentation of photography, and my best podcast it’s about mistreats people.
My best written evidence I think that’s the opinion essay.

I choose this evidence because I think that are so better than the others because I spend more time on crate this.

The future.

I’m sure that this work (portfolio and blogs) was a very useful thing. I’m sure that in the future, when we’ll see all this work, we’ll be proud of us.

FILM: OLIVER TWIST.

Oliver is an orphan boy whose take in a orphanage center. All the children of the orphanage have hungry, so, by drawing lots, Oliver Twist it’s elect for ask to the teacher a little bit more of lunch.

Orangutan in zoo escape bid.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/8043283.stm

This video show some persons (3 persons conretly) who are talking about Orangutan in zoo escape bid. This zoo (in Australia) was temporarily evacuated after an orangutan short-circuited an electric fence in a daring escape attempt.
The monkey named Karta blocked a stick into wires connected to the fence, and piled up debris to climb a wall at Adelaide Zoo.
She sat on top of the wire for about 30 minutes before apparently changing her mind and climbing back inside.

SEEDS OF CHANGE

Nicholas Mead says: is organic food a healthier way to eat, or a pricey marketing ploy?

Although organic food is as old as the hills, some consider it just another new-age fad alongside such things as yoga, tai-chi and bio-diesel. The Minister David Milliband dismissed organic food as nothing more than a lifestyle choice. Never, skeptics maintain that organic is nothing but a marketing label.
Organic crops are those that have been grown without modern industrial methods such as pesticides, artificial fertilizers and they have also been processed without food additives. A result of these is that organic farms still only account for two percent of Spain farms, and over 80 percent of heir produce is exported.

THE BRAIN nº25 Think in English

The brain is the citadel of sense perception, surgeons and research scientists have begun to discuss the possibilities of a brain transplant. A successful brain transplant would be a monumental task. To transplant a heart alone takes a teen of more than ten doctors, while a brain transfer would require an army of physicians. The brain is the only organ that’s actually aware of itself.

One famous brain says:

“My brain? It’s my second favourite organ”
Woody Allen (b.1935)
